Choosing your reception hall is almost as important as choosing your ceremony site. You not only want a place that will fit all of your guests comfortably and will be able to cater to your requests, but you want a pretty, photographic background. Country clubs are frequent choices because they have spacious banquet and conference rooms set amid picturesque landscaping, but this is not always the case so choose wisely. When a well-meaning friend or relative suggests a site, make sure you visit it yourself; their version of beautiful or serene may not match yours. In addition, a reception site may be able to recommend caterers or may have one of their own, which can cut down on your spending and worries.
